A Glimpse Into Our Programs, Community, and Values
1Do you have any other branches?
This is our first branch as Genesis Global Community School. This is our first N-Grade 12 school. In the past, we have run an ECE institution for more than 5 years. GGCS was founded by board members from China and Indonesia. Our diverse team shares experiences from various worldwide organizations to provide global perspectives and international-mindedness for our students.
2What after-school activities do you offer?
We have an array of after-school activities (ASA). Starting from sports (basketball, soccer, swimming, golf) to the arts (drama, art, choir), academics (ModelUN, debate), and hobbies (chess, dance, robotics). GGCS also offers students the opportunity to create their own club/activity and the school will facilitate throughout. Students can make a sign-up sheet and petition to start a club!

4Do I have to pay all the fees upfront?
No, payment plans can be discussed with our management and we will try our best to accommodate your needs!
5Are teachers locals or expats?
We will have a mix of local and expat teachers. Teachers at GGCS will undergo IB training, be IB-certified, and align with our quality and values standards.

Inside the Classroom at GGCS: Curriculum, Class Systems, and Student Care
1How many students per class?
We will have a maximum of 22 students per class. From N1 - G3, there will be 1 teacher and 1 teaching assistant.
2What curriculum will GGCS be using?
We will implement the IB curriculum for Grades 1–12 (PYP, MYP, and DP). However, for the 2025–2026 academic year, we will offer classes only up to Grade 9.
There will also be Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, PPKN, and religion courses. Classes will be delivered in full English except for language courses and PPKN.
3How are the class systems? Is it a moving class?
For Elementary levels, students will only be moving classes for special subjects (music, arts, computer, PE). For Middle School and High School, students will be moving classes.
4Does GGCS accept students with special needs?
We are an inclusive school and will hold interviews and observations with you and your child with our school counselor. Depending on the results, then we will discuss the next steps (if needed).
5How will GGCS handle bullying cases?
We have a zero-tolerance policy against bullying and we do not take it lightly. Students involved will go to our counselor and we will resolve from there.
Safety, Language, and Facilities at GGCS: What Parents Need to Know"
1What language is used in the school?
Lessons will be delivered in full English except for language courses and PPKN.
2Technology?
Technology will be used as an added learning tool for students. Students in upper elementary (G4) and above will be allowed to bring their phones to school but must remain in lockers/bags during class periods.
3Security measures about pickup?
Cars will only be allowed on school grounds for pick up and drop off only. There will be no parking except for registered guests. Lunch will be provided by the school. Students can purchase snacks during break or bring their own. The swimming pool can only be used during P.E. class when a lifeguard is on duty. During pick-up, guardians will have to show ID tag, or have their car’s license plate registered on the school’s security system.
4Parking lot?
We do not have a parking lot but we plan to work together with nearby areas (such as qbig) and have shuttle busses ready. Parents will only be allowed to park inside school grounds if an appointment has been made.
5When will students start swimming?
N1 - K2: waterplay
G1 onwards: pool
It will be a part of the Physical Education program.
